Campus Supports

The following campus supports are available to help you as you settle into life on campus and throughout your time working at Georgia Tech

  • Barnes & Noble at Georgia Tech. Tech’s main campus bookstore, which is located in Tech Square. 
  • BuzzCard. Your BuzzCard ID is your campus passport, library card, facilities access key, and can even be loaded with money to use at restaurants/dining halls across campus.  
  • BuzzPort. The campus portal for accessing Georgia Tech services and interacting with campus colleagues.  
  • Campus Recreation Center. Offers everything from a world-class aquatics facility to a state-of-the-art fitness center to aerobics classes.   
  • Employee Benefits. Information about health, retirement, and other benefits offered to faculty at the Institute. 
  • Faculty Handbook. The Institute's primary resource for faculty members.
  • Faculty Governance. Includes information about all faculty standing committees, the Faculty Executive Board, and the Faculty Senates (which includes both the Academic Faculty Senate and Research Faculty Senate). 
  • Faculty Women's Club. Founded in 1921 to promote friendships and learning opportunities among women faculty and wives of faculty members. 
  • Global Human Resources. Provides human resources services for international faculty members.
  • GT Athletics. Information about season football tickets and all of Georgia Tech's athletic teams. 
  • Housing. Through an agreement with Housing, Faculty Affairs oversees a limited number of two-bedroom apartments available for rent for Georgia Tech-affiliated visiting faculty members at the 10th & Home facility. For questions related to these apartments, please contact Faculty Affairs.
  • Human Resources. Website for the Office of Human Resources. 
  • Language Institute. Offers short courses designed especially to meet the needs of international visiting scholars who are involved in academic research at Georgia Tech and need some assistance with English skills.
  • Legal Affairs. Offers insight into any legal issues you might encounter at Georgia Tech. 
  • Library. Georgia Tech's main library, which offers much more than just books.
  • Map. A searchable campus map. 
  • Parking and Transportation Services. All the need-to-know information about everything from getting a parking permit to riding the campus bus.
  • Policy Library. All official Georgia Tech policies are listed on this site. 
  • Student Center. Located in the middle of campus, the Student Center is home to everything from places to eat to a bowling alley (Tech Rec).
  • TechWorks. Everything you need to know about payroll and compensation details, vacation and sick time information, travel and expense reimbursement, and more.
